  1. Hahaah! Gamebooks remain a great way to provide real *adventure* to kids that don’t have computers and that aren’t sophisticated enough to run an rpg themselves. I think they’re awesome. I hate that they are in a bad light now as a result of this story breaking….

    • Y’know, never having a console growing up, I read a lot of the Super Mario Bros (and occasional Legend of Zelda, when they’d publish one) game books. Really, most of those were more fun than playing the actual games.
